Qualifying for the National Shoot

2012 NASP Nationals in Louisville KY May 11-12. 

1. Tournament Registration - Go to: www.nasptournaments.org  All Times Eastern Standard
1.1. Pre-Registration: March 8 @ 8AM - April 8 @ 5PM EST. It is recommended to pre-register your roster to optimize access to preferred shooting (flight) times. If your team finished 1st place you must preregister to be eligible for Early Registration.
1.2. Early Registration: April 9 @ 11AM -April 11 @ 5PM EST. -1st Place Elementary, Middle, and High
School teams only. You must have pre-registered by April 8th to be eligible for Early Registration.
1.3. Final Registration: April 12 @ 8AM - April 26, 5PM EST.
1.4. The registration fee remains $25/archer (2 coaches free) paid on-line when registering.
1.5. NASPĀ® will provide a souvenir pin to each archer and up to 6 registered (BAI-certified) coaches.
1.6. When flights are full registration will be closed.
2. Who: State Champions & Qualifying NASPĀ® Teams & Individuals
2.1. 1st place Elementary (4th-6th), Middle (7-8th), & High School (9-12th) teams from state tournaments
2.2. Teams with qualifying scores (qualifying score = sum top 12 archers with at least 4 of the opposite gender)
2.3. Elementary School qualifying score is 2,800 points
2.4. Middle School qualifying score is 2,900 points
2.5. High School qualifying score is 3,000 points
2.6. The first place team in each division from every state is qualified regardless of their team score.
2.7. Male & female individuals placing 1st-5th in 4th, 5th, & 6th grades or in the Middle & High School Divisions.
2.8. Every registered Coach for the team must be at least BAI (Basic Archery Instructor) certified.

Qualifying for the State Shoot

The top five males and females in each Division will receive an automatic invitation to the State Shoot. The top team from each division will receive an automatic invitation the State Shoot. All other team invitations to the State Shoot will be based off of team scores.
